The Korea Regulatory Science Center was established on April 1, 2022, with authorization from the Ministry of Food  and Drug Safety. Our mission is to contribute to the development of the healthcare industry and the promotion of  public health by establishing a foundation for the biohealth industry and promoting research and development (R&D).  We are fulfilling this mission by conducting professional research, fostering talent, collecting, analyzing, and providing  information, and supporting various domestic and international biohealth regulatory science projects in  areas such as food, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and cosmetics.

Regulatory science plays a bridging role in public health by developing and evaluating diverse methods to produce  the data necessary for decision-making. It balances scientific and technological advancements with societal needs to  quickly deliver newly developed advanced products to patients and society.

At the Korea Regulatory Science Center, we aim to nurture industry and the regulatory professionals across the food  and drug field. By expanding our scope through regulatory science research and policy support to activate the  regulatory science ecosystem, we aim to support the innovative growth of the biohealth industry and ultimately  promote public health, thereby establishing ourselves as a global hub for regulatory science.
